A Launch of Samsung’s Future DirectionThursday, December 10th, 2015
High-level business partners and the press were privileged to witness the unveiling of Samsung’s Business Solutions Center last June 5, 2014 at its new office on the 10th floor of the Science Hub 4 Building inside the McKinley Hill Cyberpark in Taguig. Starting off with a registration and lunch, members of the media were greeted with an opening video on “The New Business Experience” and welcome remarks by Chung Lyong Lee, Managing Director for Samsung Electronics Philippines Corporation (SEPCO). A Samsung Overview by SEPCO’s enterprise business director, Ms. Irene Catane ensued, along with the mandatory ribbon-cutting. A media tour was thereafter given, capped by a Q & A session for the press. In the afternoon, Samsung opened its doors to customers who also witnessed the same program of activities earlier, but instead of a presscon, they listened to a vertical solution cluster talk, culminating the night with customer networking.
Samsung featured its technology solutions meant for various industries such as restaurants, hospitality, healthcare, banking and education. Business partner LiFEDATA showcased its healthcare and lifestyle solutions using innovative Samsung products. Among them was the Menu Ordering System Terminal (MOST) software which was effectively showcased using a Samsung Note Pro 12.1 tablet that boasts a large 12.1″ screen plus a fast processor. The MOST was highlighted together with a mobile POS and a portable card payment solution. For healthcare, Lifedata iMD solution was featured as it showed off its e-prescription module in the Samsung Tab 4 10.1 tablet as well as the patient-queuing system in its Hospitality TV.
Samsung and LiFEDATA, in their relentless innovation and drive to improve lives, are expected to create an even bigger share of the business market.
